Ukraine recovery needs by region 2024-2033

The highest needs for recovery and reconstruction from the damages caused by the Russian invasion were estimated in Ukraine's frontline regions, such as the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia Oblasts. Around 74 billion U.S. dollars would be needed to recover the Donetsk Oblast over the period from 2024 to 2033. In total, Ukraine's recovery and reconstruction needs in that decade were estimated at 486 billion U.S. dollars.
