From 2019 through to the beginning of 2022, the level of assets and liabilities held by UK pension schemes remained relatively stable, experiencing incremental fluctuations. Gross liabilities excluding derivatives increased slightly by 34 billion British pounds, while gross assets excluding derivatives increased by almost 300 billion British pounds.
