British residents without easy walking access to a green space 2023, by country
As of June 2023, approximately 5.22 million residents in England were without ten-minute walking access to a green space. This was a higher figure than the other two countries in Great Britain, Scotland and Wales, with the number of residents nearly ten times larger than that of Scotland where roughly 530 thousand residents were not within a ten-minute walking distance of a green space.
