Number of Jewish married persons aged 15 years and older 2000-2021
In 2021, there were 31.5 married persons per 1,000 singles aged 15 years and older among the Jewish segment of society in Israel. This was an increase compared to the previous year. This drop could be explained by the government's actions in the country to combat the COVID-19 outbreak, which canceled mass events as well as weddings in 2020. From a base of 38.2 married persons per thousand singles in 2000, the ratio of Jewish married persons fluctuated throughout the period under review with an overall decrease.
