Number of married persons aged 15 years and older 2000-2021
In 2021, there were 33.3 married persons per 1,000 singles aged 15 and over in Israel. This was an increase from the previous year. This decrease could be explained by the government's actions in the country to combat the COVID-19 outbreak, which canceled mass events as well as weddings in 2020. The ratio of married persons fluctuated throughout the period, with an overall decrease from a base of 41.4 married persons per thousand singles in 2000.
