Market share of tumble dryer sales South Korea 2019-2022, by energy efficiency class
In 2022, nearly 87 percent of tumble dryers sold in South Korea had an first class energy efficiency rating. After tumble dryers became subject to energy efficiency ratings in the second half of 2019, manufacturers have focused on providing energy efficient products to consumers. For example, newer tumble dryer models from LG Electronics or Samsung Electronics all have a first class rating by default.
