Level of interest in digital wage payments in Tokyo 2023

According to a survey conducted in January 2023, around 29 percent of respondents in Tokyo were at least somewhat interested in using digital wage payments. From April 2023 onwards, companies in Japan are allowed to transfer salaries directly to their employees' mobile payment applications.
