According to a survey conducted in 2022, 34 percent of Americans said that they would not vote for a presidential candidate who was Atheist while 26 percent said they would not vote for a presidential candidate who was Muslim in the United States. A further 23 percent said that they would not vote for a candidate who was Mormon.
