Share of Americans who believe God hears prayers U.S. 2022, by age group
According to a survey conducted in the United States in 2022, Americans between the ages of 18 and 29 years old were less likely to believe that God hears prayers and intervenes than older age groups. 32 percent of Americans aged 18 to 29 years old did not believe in God, in comparison to 12 percent of Americans who were 65 years old and over.
