In 2022, Wells Fargo had nearly 930 billion U.S. dollars in outstanding loans. The global outstanding loans of the bank, which has its headquarters in San Francisco, have fluctuated significantly in the past years. In fact, Wells Fargo had more loans outstanding in 2017 than in 2022. Despite that fall, Wells Fargo still was the bank with the third largest consumer loans portfolio in the U.S.
