Number of UNWRA refugee shelters after Israeli air strike in Gaza October 2023
As of January 15, 2024, there were around 154 shelters set up by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. On October 7, 2023, the radical Islamic terrorist organization Hamas launched a series of attacks on Israel, which led to the current outbreak of war with Israel.
