Ghana: private primary care costs for hepatitis screening by type 2023

As of 2023, Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) profiling in private primary care facilities in Ghana amounted to 23.07 Ghanaian cedis (GHS), roughly 1.9 U.S. dollars. Moreover, the tariff for hepatitis C screening amounted to 12.32 GHS, around one U.S. dollar. These investigation costs have been set since October 2022, and are for the diagnosis, monitoring, and management of the liver disease.
