Super League: Man of Steel winners 2023

In 2023, Bevan French of the Wigan Warriors won the coveted Man of Steel award, which recognizes the most outstanding player in each season of the Super League - Great Britain's highest tier of rugby league. This was the first time French had won the award, making him the 26th player to receive it since the inaugural year of the Super League in 1996. Since the award was introduced, only three players have won it on more than one occasion: Andy Farrell, Paul Scunthorpe, and Sam Tomkins, all having won two each.

Since 2019, the recipient of the award is decided by a points system, which sees the three best players in a match awarded one, two, or three points, with the best playing receiving three and the third-best being awarded one. The player with the most points at the end of a season receives the award.
