Food grain distribution under PMGKAY India 2023
Under the food subsidy scheme of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyana Yojana, around 3.8 million metric tons of grains were distributed in November 2023. The grain distribution stayed around four million metric tons per month throughout 2023. PMGKAY is a central government initiative to provide free food grains to poor households.
