Forecast for global number of monthly container ship deliveries 2022-2023
Following the growing profit margins of container carriers, many container ship operators have ordered new container ships to increase the capacity of their fleets. Some of these new ships will be delivered in 2022 and 2023. In March 2023, about 0.17 million TEUs worth of container ships are expected to be delivered worldwide.
