UK: Ford car sales

The number of cars sold by Ford in the United Kingdom (UK) between January 2017 and August 2022 fluctuated considerably. In August 2022, sales volume amounted to almost 6,000 units following a difficult year for sales amid the global automotive chip shortage. Ford was one of the leading car companies in the UK. The Driver & Vehicle Licensing Agency issues new registration plates in September and March, which usually corresponds with the peak months of Ford sales.
