Number of tourist arrivals from India to Europe 2019-2021, by region of destination

The number of tourist arrivals from India to Europe decreased in 2021 over the previous year, following a dramatic drop in 2020 with the onset of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Overall, Central and Eastern European countries reported the highest number of Indian travelers in 2021. That said, arrivals from India decreased from 1.8 million in 2019 to around 393 thousand in 2021.
