The parcel market in the United States is dominated by United Postal Service (UPS), FedEx, and United States Postal Service (USPS). Out of the leading couriers and local delivery providers in the United States, the USPS had only 19 percent of the market, the least of all three. In the fiscal year ending September 30, 2020, around 19.7 billion pieces were sent and received in the transaction market. Furthermore, 6.3 billion parcels were sent and received in the United States in that same period.
