Greece: telecommunications sector production value 2019

The production value of the telecommunications industry in Greece increased by 438 million euros since the previous year. With 5.4 billion euros, the production value thereby reached its highest value in the observed period. This could be explained by the fact that Eurostat reports a break in time series for 2018.

The production value is defined as turnover, plus or minus the changes in stocks of finished products, work in progress and goods and services purchased for resale, minus the purchases of goods and services for resale, plus capitalised production, plus other operating income (excluding subsidies). Income and expenditure classified as financial or extra-ordinary in company accounts is excluded from production value.
