According to the Fortune China 500 ranking in 2022, Shanghai Pharmaceuticals ranked first among all Chinese biotech and pharmaceutical companies, with an annual revenue of about 21 billion yuan in 2021. China Resources Pharmaceutical Group was the second placeholder with 196.55 billion yuan in annual revenue, followed by Guangzhou Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical with a wide margin. The ranking is based on total revenue in 2021 and was released in July 2022.
