British Columbia's photovoltaic power capacity 2012-2016
This statistic displays the cumulative capacity of grid-connected photovoltaic power in British Columbia from 2012 to 2016. In 2016, solar power capacity reached about 6.5 megawatts in the province. As all the provincial and territorial governments now support net-metering or net-billing and as system costs have decreased, generation of solar energy is gradually approaching grid parity in Canada.
