Cumulative solar PV capacity in the United Kingdom (UK) 2010-2019, by tariff scheme

Most solar photovoltaic capacity in the United Kingdom was installed as part of the Renewable Obligations scheme. Since 2017, there were 6,976 megawatts worth of solar power accredited as RO installed. By comparison, unaccredited solar power capacity was estimated to have reached 882.6 megawatts in 2019.
