Percentage of workers in the U.S. with no savings in the last year, 2015

This statistic shows the percentage of workers in the United States who did not put aside money as savings in the last year by age, based on a survey conducted between May and June 2015. While all age groups had a similar rate of workers who did not put aside any funds for savings in the last year, the lowest rate was among those workers aged 55 and over. 24 percent of that cohort did not save in the last year, compared with 32 percent of the 18-24 years old cohort.
