Poverty line for households in Italy 2021
In 2021, an individual living in Italy with less than 630 euros per month was considered poor. Whereas a household with four members with less than 1,709 euros per month was living below the poverty line, a household with two people needed roughly one thousand euros not be considered poor. In total, almost two million families and 5.5 million individuals in Italy were living below the poverty line as of 2021.
