India's capital, Delhi, had the highest number of registered cars at the end of fiscal year 2019, amounting to approximately 3.2 million. It was followed by Bengaluru, with 1.5 million cars. Car in this category represents non-transport vehicles which exclude jeeps, omni buses, tractors, trailers, and etc.
