Thefts reported by the police forces in Italy 2019, by type
In 2019, almost 1.1 million thefts were reported by the police forces to the judicial authority in Italy. Among these, burglary was the most common felony, with more than 165 thousand cases reported. Pickpocketing and theft from vehicle followed in the list, both recording around 137 thousand cases.
