The statistic illustrates the results of the national parliamentary elections in the Netherlands in 2012 and 2017, by number of seats. In 2012, both VVD and PvdA formed a coalition with respectively 79 seats where a minimum of 76 seats is needed. Five years later, PvdA decreased from 38 to 9 seats whilst the VVD decreased from 41 to 33 seats.
