According to a 2020 survey, 68 percent of Spanish respondents who were singles and lived with their parents exercised at least once a week. This share went down to a little over 50 percent among independent singles, divorced or widowed. Spaniards with a higher education degree practiced sports weekly more than any other group as of that year.
