This statistic displays the number of deaths as a result of ischaemic heart disease (IHD) in Germany from 2000 to 2014. In 2014, 189 men and 101 women died as a result of ischaemic heart disease, a decrease from 2013 when the number of deaths among males increased on previous years. The number of deaths from IHD was highest in 2000 at 334 deaths among males and 195 deaths among females. The death rate has significantly decreased in recent years.
