The statistics displays the distribution of the yearly tonnage transported by road in Spain in 2018, broken down by vehicle load capacity. Most of the tonnage was transported on vehicles that could support over 20 metric tons of cargo, with figures reaching over 1 billion tons that year. In contrast, vehicles with a load capacity between 18.1 and 20 tons featured the lowest tonnage in 2018, with 28 million metric tons in total.
