In 2020, the volume of goods transported domestically by road in Sweden amounted to 47 million metric tons. During this period, ore and similar products accounted for the highest share of goods, amounting to roughly 165 million metric tons. Products from agriculture, forestry, and fishery was the second largest category of goods with 72.5 million metric tons transported on Swedish roads in 2019.
