Caribbean: total contribution of travel and tourism to GDP by country 2018

In 2018, the Dominican Republic and Cuba registered the highest total contributions of travel and tourism to the GDP among all Caribbean islands, with 13.95 and 10.56 billion U.S. dollars respectively. They were followed by Puerto Rico with nearly 7 billion U.S. dollars in total contribution, and Jamaica and the Bahamas, with more than 5 U.S. billion dollars each.
