The number of ocean cruise passengers to the most visited global cruise destinations rose significantly in 2022 over the previous year, after falling dramatically with the onset of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In 2022, the Caribbean, Bahamas, and Bermuda were the leading cruise destinations worldwide, with roughly nine million passengers. While this figure denotes a sharp annual increase, it remained below pre-pandemic levels. Meanwhile, Central and Western Mediterranean destinations followed in the raking in 2022, with around 2.6 million cruise passengers.
