In 2018, the total value added of the industrial sector in Italy amounted to almost 335 billion euros. The region with the highest contribution in value added in this sector was Lombardy, with almost 87 billion euros. Veneto and Emilia-Romagna followed, recording figures equal to 42 and 41 billion euros, respectively.
