Cannabis use in Sweden 2008-2018, by age group

This statistic shows the result of a survey on people that have used cannabis within the last 12 months in Sweden from 2008 to 2018, by age group. The share of 16 to 29 year-olds using cannabis was significantly higher than the other age groups over this period. The largest share occurred in 2018, with a share of 8.9 percent of respondents. The share with the lowest cannabis usage among people of this age group was in 2008, amounting to 5.4 percent of respondents.
