Italy: healthcare services related problems 2021

In 2021, the most relevant problem related to healthcare services in Italy was access to the services. More specifically, almost one out of four complaints in that year referred to problems related to long waiting times, fees and exemptions. Issues related to prevention, including access to vaccines against COVID-19, were mentioned in around 20 percent of the complaints. This statistic reports the results of an analysis on warnings about public healthcare services submitted by Italian citizens.
