Medium tariff hotel occupancy rate in Hong Kong 2007-2022

In 2022, the hotel occupancy rate of medium tariff hotels in Hong Kong was around 66 percent, a decrease from around 73 percent in the previous year. Medium tariff hotel room occupancy fell in 2022, whereas occupancy in high tariff A and B hotels has increased.

According to the source, room occupancy rate is compiled based on daily rooms occupied against daily rooms available for sales in respect of hotels and guesthouses which responded to the Hong Kong Tourism Board’s monthly Hotel Room Occupancy Survey. Rooms under repair or being refurnished are excluded.
