Global benchmark capital expenditure (CAPEX) for utility-scale solar photovoltaics (PV) has been decreasing over the years. Between 2010 and 2020, figures decreased by 2.92 U.S. dollars per watt. In 2020, the CAPEX for utility-scale solar PV reached 0.61 U.S. dollars per watt.
