India- public opinion on reduction in crime rates 2019

The results of a survey regarding the public opinion on the government being able to bring down the rate of crime against women and children seemed positive. As of February 2019, 55 percent of respondents stated that they believed that the central government has succeeded in lowering the crime rates. This was a significant increase compared to 2017.
