In this same year, the segment accounted for 27% of the worldwide Consumer Electronics' revenue; with its revenue increasing by 0.7%, in comparison to 2018.

The TV, Radio & Multimedia segment is the third largest segment of the Consumer Electronics market. Revenue accruing from this segment is forecast to increase by approximately US$34 billion between 2019 and 2025, and this predicted year-on-year growth is largely driven by televisions and smart devices, like smart speakers.

The revenue of the TV Peripheral Devices segment is predicted to amount to US$11 billion by 2025, up from US$8 billion in 2019. The Smart Streaming Devices subsegment in this segment is set to account for 89% of revenues accruing from TV Peripheral Devices by 2025; an increase from 45% in 2019.
