According to a 2022 survey, consumer experiences for products were the most attractive use case for the metaverse in the retail industry. Up to 35 percent of respondents would explore metaverse uses for product purchases, while another 28 percent thought the same about services. Retailers could also adopt metaverse features for enterprise purposes, an option in which 16 percent of consumers were interested.
