This statistic displays the result of a survey on the plans regarding the 5G technology of digital pioneer enterprises in Finland in 2018. According to the survey, 72 percent of the respondents stated that they are observing the developments of 5G but are not currently planning any actions regarding it. Meanwhile, seven percent of the respondents stated no interest in the 5G technology.

5G is used to describe the fifth generation cellular network technology providing broadband access. This technology is believed to offer fast speeds and reliable connections to devices using mobile networks.

- The importance of digitalization for the enterprise is critical, extremely important or important

- In addition, the analyzed enterprises seek almost without exception a new business activity which utilizes digitalization.
The survey respondents are in their enterprises decision makers in matters concerning digitalization."
