Argentina: volume of domestic tourism 2014-2019, by mode of transport
From 2014 to 2019, the number of domestic overnight trips made by air in Argentina registered a steady increase of around 800 thousand during that whole period. On the other hand, the number of domestic trips by land fluctuated during those years, with the lowest number in 2016. The following year set the record for domestic trips by land in those years, with nearly 49 million. In 2019, the total number of overnight trips in Argentina amounted to approximately 43 million.
