Number of written customer complaints received by An Post 2014-2021
In 2021, An Post received 56,309 written complaints, an increase of 17.12 percent increase compared to the previous year. The significant increase in customer complaints in the past two years was partly due to the impact of Brexit, changes in customer behaviour during the COVID-19 lockdown, and changes in custom rules.
