This statistic depicts the leading destination countries for Italy's exports of iron and steel manufacturing from 2017 to 2019, by export value. Data provided by Prometeia show that, in 2019, the export values of the Italian iron and steel industry experienced a decrease among all the leading destination countries. Germany was the main buyer of steel and iron manufactured from Italy and the value of exports decreased from 2.3 billion euros in 2018 to 1.9 billion in 2019.
