Leading factors for not buying an electric car in Japan 2019
The majority of Japanese respondents, around 53 percent, stated that high purchasing prices keep them away from considering a switch from conventional to electric cars, according to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2019. In contrast, over four percent of respondents were doubting the positive effects of electric cars on the environment.
