Number of college nd university teachers in Macao 2011-2021
As of the academic year 2022/2023, there were 2,813 teachers working in institutions for higher education in Macao. There are four public funded institutions and six private funded institutions for higher education in Macao, among which, the university of Macau is the only public research university.
