In the financial year 2022, the gross revenue for the Indian electrical equipment manufacturing company, Bajaj Electricals Limited amounted to over 48.7 billion Indian rupees. In the last decade, the Mumbai-based company witnessed a general growth in gross revenue. The fluctuation between the financial year 2019 and 2022 can be attributed to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bajaj Auto in numbers

Founded in the 1940s, Bajaj Auto Limited is an Indian multinational automobile company that specializes in manufacturing two and three-wheeler vehicles in India. With a profit after tax of nearly 50.2 billion Indian rupees in fiscal year 2021, the company was one of the market leaders in the segment. Over the years, it started showing a strong international presence by establishing operations in multiple countries and teaming up with a variety of international partners. As of 2022, the company was a source of employment to more than ten thousand people.

Partnership with KTM

KTM began its journey in the Indian two-wheeler market by allying with the Indian two-wheeler manufacturing giant Bajaj Auto Limited. The joint venture with KTM’s technological edge and Bajaj’s low-cost production turned out to be a game-changer and helped both the companies to strengthen their position in the market. In the fiscal year 2022, KTM, in cooperation with Bajaj Auto, sold close to 51 thousand bikes in India.
