As of 2019, most flights operated by respective domestic designated airlines in Malaysia were going to Indonesia with about 323 flights per week. In total, the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) accounted for 57.1 percent of the passenger traffic and therefore it can be assumed that most of the aircraft departed in Kuala Lumpur too.
