U.S. bank spent just over 20 percent of its non-interest income on tech in 2018, the only major bank to break that barrier. KeyBank, Bank of America, and Citibank all spent over 18 percent, while the large institutions JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo each spent 16.3 percent.
